- pepper, to taste

Notes
Variation: Add 1/4 cup pimientos and 1/4 cup dried cranberries.I actually only use romaine without the iceberg these days. The original recipe called for a small jar of pimientos, but discovered the roasted red peppers gave the salad more of a slight kick we enjoy. Shown here: Mama Lil’s Roasted Red Peppers.Great recipe for a crowd or potluck. Quick to do and easy to keep these ingredients on hand for last minute goodness.
